"We will definitely return again to Paddington GU. I cannot fault the service we received right from the initial communication I had with Shane & Glenn. They were polite, responsive & helpful and accommodating. No question was too much hassle and I felt complete trust in all the arrangements we had made. As the night went on we had Liam as our drinks waiter and he was superb. He was attentive and ran around like a mad man to ensure we had all the drinks we needed exactly when we needed them. He kept me regularly updated on how our tab was doing so that we didn’t overspend and I was so impressed with how patient and polite he was. Overall, I seriously cannot fault a single thing and I thank the staff VERY much for making our Xmas Party a fantastic one."

It usually a let down in bars when you reserve an area, because they give you somewhere the size of a postage stamp and there no way the advised number of people can fit there comfortably. "Visited Paddington Grand Union bar. We had Burgers, Pizza, Salad and a chicken stack which was very well prepared - very tasty at reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend the Grand Union in Paddington and will come back. What I liked in particular was the atmosphere - it is close to the canal, and the interior is nice. Although it is a pub it does not have the typical shabby, smelly pub look. What my colleagues and I noticed was that the staff were very patient - as a group of 7 women we took a while to decide on food and drinks :) - and friendly: we were quite demanding - we needed extra cutlery, glasses and so on so we called them to the table quite often. Unfortunately this is not the case everywhere today! So all in all a very nice experience!!! Thank you!"
